Logo
Bound In Blood most often posted this design in a client's final version without the text on the dog tags. At a later point, the design was also posted by SxEleton Clothing with the text included.
The initial plans to make merchandise had to be dropped when the band was told that the shirts would 'start beef': "It was just about 10 years ago that I had this idea for a design based off one of our songs. I got so many calls and voicemails from dudes saying that I was gonna be 'dead in a dumpster' if I printed it. So insane. I mean, this idea wasn't to attack the crews I saw making a change in the scene (California scene). It was the quantity of crews popping up that was annoying. The ones that were trying to 'prospect' for bigger crews but were just at shows to start fights. Everyone started wearing dog tags and shit trying to copy other crews. That's where the idea came from. So many long talks with crew dudes about what I was aiming at till they understood it all. But still... Got so ridiculous." - Gabe Ochoa (lightly edited)
